Brian Burt Obituary
Brian R. Burt, 59, Mosinee, died Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at Aspirus Wausau hospital due to complications from Leukemia.
He was born Oct. 23, 1956, the son of Shirley (Erickson) and the late Robert Burt. He married Marcella Springer on June 18, 1994.
Brian graduated from Marshfield in 1974. He attended Technical School in Wisconsin Rapids. As a youth he participated in Saddle Club and horse shows.
Brian was employed by the DeBoer Transportation Co. He also had a side business, Burt's LLC. Brian enjoyed Motorcycles and was currently a member of the S.P.H.D.M.C. of Mosinee. He was a former Vice President and member of Man of Honor of Wausau. Brian enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and being the first one up in the morning with the coffee ready.
Survived by brother, Brooks Burt, Marshfield; sons Bradley Burt, Marshfield, Blaine (Briana) Burt, Oakdale, MN; stepchildren, Dawn (Bill) Swanson, Mosinee, Robert (Angela) Porter, La Crosse, and Natalie (Jerry) Koch, Mosinee; grandchildren; Wesley, Brooklyn, Matthew, Bryan, Kaine, Connor, Monique and Monet; Nephew, Bryce; mother-in-law, Lillian Springer; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Edith Burt; maternal grandparents, William and Geneva Erickson; father-in-law George Springer; and step-son, Ronald Houswerth.
Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016, at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee. Friends may call from noon until time of service at the funeral home.

Can't believe you are gone. I don't even remember the last time I saw you but I know that you always made me feel like I better be good or else...... But deep inside I know you were a very nice man who would help anyone that deserved it. To the family know he is still going to be looking out for all of you and he knows we will always remember him and the memories that we shared with him. RIP Brian till we meet again.
