Daniel Traeder Obituary
Dan was born April 17, 1972, in Wausau, son of Donald A. Traeder and Joyce M. (O'Keefe) Traeder, Schofield. He attended D.C. Everest High School, Class of 1990. He was the youngest of the four brothers, Kevin (Debra) Traeder, Weston, Tom (Joy) Traeder, Wausau, and James (Lisa) Traeder, Hatley.
He was employed as a painter with Mid-State Contracting in Wausau. He was previously employed at Merrill Iron and Steel, and Crystal Finishing, both in Schofield.
Dan thoroughly loved life and was a caring and loyal son, brother and friend, to all he encountered and would do anything for anyone anytime. He enjoyed ice fishing, woodworking, his pets, and working with his hands. He was a loving and fun uncle to his six nephews and one niece, Taylor, Noah, Ian of Weston, Kyle and Kayle of Hatley, and Tristan and Tucker of Wausau.
He and his special friend, Anita Tio, and her two sons, Damien and Makia, were very close and shared many wonderful times together. Dan will also be missed by a special little friend, Adrianna "Anna," daughter of a good friend.
Dan is survived by his parents, brothers and families, and his special friends and their families. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011, at John J. Buettgen Funeral Home in Schofield, and again from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral Mass Friday at St. Therese Catholic Church in Rothschild.
John J. Buettgen Funeral Home, Schofield, is assisting the family.

Dear Traeder Family,
Dan was a wonderful person, It has been years since we've walked the halls of DC Everest, or shared a class...but Dan will always be fondly remembered.
