Dear uncle of several nieces and nephews. Dan enjoyed ice boating, sailing, woodworking, inventing, and reading. He was a member of St. Mary Queen of Creation Church where he was on various commissions and committees. He was a member of the North Star Sail Club, ABYRA, and various engineering and technical societies. He was president of his Homeowner's Association. Visitation 2:30-9 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. Scripture Service Thursday, June 6 at Gendernalik Funeral Home, 35259 23 Mile Rd., New Baltimore. In state 10 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Liturgy Friday, June 7 at St. Mary Queen of Creation Church, 50931 Maria, New Baltimore. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
