Jeanette A. Kolbe

Jeanette A. Kolbe, 65, Wausau, died Monday May 4, 2015 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

She was born October 30, 1949 in Wausau, daughter of the late Elmer and Ruby (Vonheeder) Kolbe. She married Michael Kellnhauser in Wausau. He survives.

Jeanette attended UW Stevens Point graduating with a degree in Art. For the past 35 years, Mike and Jeanette owned and operated Al-Rene's Flowers and Gifts on Third Avenue.

She was a fantastic cook and enjoyed hosting Holiday Feasts at their home. The loves of her life were her dogs and daily golf cart rides with her husband and the dogs. She also enjoyed scrabble and crossword puzzles.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Kellnhauser, Wausau, one sister, Sandie (Doug) Gierl, Harshaw, nieces and nephews, Ahren (Jade) Osterbrink, Amy (Scott) Leland and Brian Osterbrink, her mother-in-law, Elaine Kellnhauser, a special sister-in-law, Sue Kellnhauser along with many other brothers and sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Monday June 1, 2015 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau. Rev. Joy Nelson-Jeffers will preside. Friends may call on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services at the Stewart Avenue funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.petersonkraemer.com
