Robert Kratwell Obituary
Robert (Bob) Kratwell, 65, of Rothschild passed away from a long battle with Leukemia on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at his son's home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born May 27, 1950 in Wausau to Kathryn (Lang) Kratwell of Kronenwetter and the late Donald Kratwell. On October 5, 1968, he married Karen Seymour in Wausau. She preceded him in death on July 20, 2003.
Bob had a great love for music and enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. He had managed the Travel Center gas station in Rib Mountain and Wausau Speedway station, most recently he drove cab in Wausau.
Survivors include his mother, Kathryn of Kronenwetter, four sons, James (Kay) of Mosinee, Michael (Laurie) of Wausau, Daniel (Kim) of Weston and Patrick of Wausau, fifteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, four brothers, Dave, Tom, John, Bill and eight sisters, Christine, Cathy, Carol, Mary, Terri, Linda, Patty and Judy. He was further preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Isakson.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Wausau. Father Robert Thorn and Father Dan Thelen will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at church.
