I went online today, to see how I might get in touch with Ron and was sad to see this obituary. Ron was a very important part of my life. He was a mentor and someone who I could always count on. He was a great friend. We were very close in the 90's and as the years went on we drifted apart. He was a great man, extremely knowledgeable and I will remember volunteering for George W. Bush with Ron and helping get President Bush Elected and Re-Elected. Words can not describe how I feel abut Ron. We was someone that I was close to and felt like we were brothers. He had a way about him that even when he didn't agree with you, it never came out in a harsh way. I am very sad to hear this news. But, I know he loved his family and the people around him. I know we will meet again. I love you Ron! Thanks for being a great friend and someone I will never forget. Thanks for all you taught me and your amazing friendship! I am sorry I wasn't able to be there for you the last few years of your life.
