Ronald Wiedoff Obituary

Wiedoff, Ronald

Ronald A. Wiedoff, 72, Kronenwetter, formerly of Clearwater, Fla., died Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, at his home.

He was born Nov. 5, 1943, in Milwaukee, the son of the late Wilbur and Lois (Becker) Wiedoff.

He was a U.S. Army Reserves veteran and was employed for more than 25 years in natural pest control, retiring in 2014. Ron was very active in the Republican Party in Florida and with fundraisers and campaigns held for the Florida Sheriff's officers. He was a diehard Packer fan and participated in martial arts throughout his life. He was also an enthusiast of water skiing and boating, once water skiing on a canoe paddle at a ski event. Ron loved the visits from his grandchildren and was a people-person who always enjoyed meeting new people.

Survivors include two sons, Jason (Maribelle) Wiedoff, Pewaukee, and Brett (Cindy) Wiedoff, Portland, Ore.; four grandchildren, Amanda, Jeff, Sara and Aurora; a sister, Sandi (Tom) Schultz, Grayson, Georgia; a niece and nephew, Traci and Jim; and his lifelong soulmate, Donna Ladrick.

No services will be held. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, assisted the family.

I went online today, to see how I might get in touch with Ron and was sad to see this obituary. Ron was a very important part of my life. He was a mentor and someone who I could always count on. He was a great friend. We were very close in the 90's and as the years went on we drifted apart. He was a great man, extremely knowledgeable and I will remember volunteering for George W. Bush with Ron and helping get President Bush Elected and Re-Elected. Words can not describe how I feel abut Ron. We was someone that I was close to and felt like we were brothers. He had a way about him that even when he didn't agree with you, it never came out in a harsh way. I am very sad to hear this news. But, I know he loved his family and the people around him. I know we will meet again. I love you Ron! Thanks for being a great friend and someone I will never forget. Thanks for all you taught me and your amazing friendship! I am sorry I wasn't able to be there for you the last few years of your life.
