Linda Huisman Obituary
Linda was born on Oct. 12, 1939, in Waverly, the daughter of Arles and Mary (Etnier) Lageschulte. She was raised in Waverly and graduated from the Waverly High School in 1957. On Sept. 14, 1958, Linda was united in marriage to Bill Huisman at the United Brethren Church in Waverly.
Linda and Bill would spend their lives farming together near Plainfield. Besides farming Linda also worked for Lutheran Mutual Insurance in Waverly, as a Librarian at the Plainfield Public Library, and as secretary at Dean's Light Box in Waverly.
Linda's memory is honored by: her husband, Bill Huisman of Plainfield; two children, Donna (Jeff) Busch, of Shell Rock, and Doug (Debbie) Huisman, of Wyoming, Minn.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 7, at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly where the family greeted friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 8, at the United Methodist Church in Shell Rock. Burial followed at Riverside Cemetery in Shell Rock. Memorials may be directed to Alzheimer's Association and online condolences may be left at www.kaisercorson.com.

My prayers go out to you the family of Mrs. Huisman. Please know the tears you shed is not going unnoticed. John 11:33, 35 tells us that Jesus wept when he saw the pain of others. That is why 1 Corinthians 15:26 tells us that He will destroy death forever.
