Lonna Stirling Obituary
Lonna K. Stirling was born on Feb. 19, 1947, the daughter of Calvin and Delorus (Allan) Hearn. Lonna graduated from Waverly-Shell Rock High School in 1965. On June 18, 1966, she was united in marriage to Jerry Stirling at St. John Lutheran Church in Clarksville.
Lonna was employed at CUNA Mutual Insurance in Waverly until her retirement in December 2005. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church.
Lonna and Jerry enjoyed their winter home in Mission, Texas. She enjoyed making crafts, gardening, baking banana bread and cinnamon rolls for her grandchildren, shopping, antiques, and helping others, but especially enjoyed attending her nine grandchildren's activities.
Survivors are her husband, Jerry Stirling, of Clarksville; three daughters, Michelle (Tim) Litterer, Julie (Ryan) Becker and Callie "J.J." (Henry) Vance, all of Clarksville; a son, Jeff (Susan) Stirling, of Greene; nine grandchildren, Brittney and Ethan Litterer, Kennedy (special friend Dalton Ciavarelli) and Kaden Becker, Isabella (fiancé Shane Harken), Miranda (special friend Skyler Popham) and Sierra Vance, and Alexis and Sam Stirling; a sister, Sue (David) Quindt, of Kingwood, Texas; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister and brother-in-law Connie (Dennis) Aissen.
A private family burial will be held at a later date. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at the AMVETS building in Clarksville on Sept. 17, 2016, from 2 to 5 p.m. A memorial will be decided by the family at a later date.

So grateful we were blessed to have Lonna and Jerry as our next door Texas neighbors. It was as if Lonna and I had known each other all our lives. I will always cherish the wonderful memories of our time together. She will always have a special place in my heart. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jerry and the entire family. Missing you, my dear Friend!
