BOBBY WALLACE CRABTREE Bobby Wallace Crabtree joined his Lord and Savior on March 3, 2025. Born May 30, 1960 to Peggy (Wimbish) Loftis and Bobby Glenn Crabtree, in Glasglow, Montana, Bobby was a kind, gentle spirit, and had a great sense of humor. He attended primary school in Avalon, Texas before attending Waxahachie ISD schools, graduating in 1978. While at Waxahachie High School, he participated in journalism, working on the newspaper staff (the Beacon). Bobby continued his education at North Texas State University, earning a Bachelors of Art degree in 1987. Bobby made his career in insurance underwriting for over 30 years. A loving father and grandfather, Bobby cherished his daughter Lauren, son Brandon, and grandson Anden. He treasured his role as "Poppy". Bobby had a sharp, artistic mind and cultivated his creativity through woodworking and photography. He enjoyed gardening and working in his yard. Bobby could often be found playing video games, enjoying his Mustang, or decorating the house with the music of Lynard Skynard, Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, or the Beastie Boys filling the air. His creative nature was also displayed in his practice of nicknaming those he loved. He called his sisters Bethany "Dow Doo", Marcy "Miracle Whip" and niece Brittany "Brittles". With great amusement and imagination, he would declare the cat a voicebox wrapped in fur. Bobby was a jokester, with an infectious laugh. He is preceded in death by his father Bobby Glen Crabtree; grandfather C.W. Wimbish and grandmother Pattye Claire Wimbish; friend Nancy Wentlandt. Bobby is survived by his mother Peggy Wimbish Loftis; sister Marcy Lin Crabtree; sister Bethany Brodeur and husband Mike Hudgins; daughter Lauren Crabtree; son Brandon Wallace Crabtree; grandchild Anden Wesley Fincannon; niece Brittany Husted and husband Patrick; nephew Matthew Brodeur and Jacob Brodeur; and four great nieces. The family received visitors Monday, March 10, 2025 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, at Boze Mitchell McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel in Waxahachie, Texas. Funeral service was held Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 2:00pm, at Boze Mitchell McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel.

Dear Family,
I was a long time friend of Bobby. My heart is broken to hear what happened. I called Bobby, BROTHER BOO and he called me SISTER CHAR (my name is Sharon). He and I became good friends around 2003. We literally laughed ourselves silly. He was so funny. I loved Bobby. I am so sorry you lost such a wonderful son and brother and father. I didn't know any of you except Lauren. Bobby and took her to a movie when she was preteen. He loved you all very much.
I lost track of Bobby. The last time we talked was around 2015. I tried to get in touch with him today to catch up with him but his phone and email were disconnected. I got worried about him. That's when I found out about him and Nancy in the car wreck.
I am so shocked and feel so sorry for his family. He loved you all SO much.
Please accept my sincere condolences.

B.C. my heart is so heavy learning of your untimely death. We had some great times at work, especially when we spoke of "Coach, Droop Dog, and T" (big smile). You always kept me smiling and laughing and those memories I will cherish forever. I will miss your cool calm demeanor and your smile that could light up any room. Heaven has gained another angel. You will be greatly missed. Fly high and rest easy my friend.

Bobby, I am so heartbroken to hear of your sudden death. I remember our time together working at NTTDATA how you always made me laugh, and even though I went home to work, I will never forget to great times we had in the office. Hate that we didn’t really keep in contact with each other after you left the company, but I often thought of you, wondering how you were doing, and then SE calls me today with this very heartbreaking news that your no longer with us I will miss you dearly Bobby, and if by chance you see Trish up there, tell her hello for me!!
