CLYDE MORRIS HILL On Thursday evening, October 31, 2024, Clyde Morris Hill entered heavens gates and is now with Jesus. He was born on December 27, 1929 in Ferris, TX to Vernon Clyde & Marie Tate Hill and was their only child. He grew up in the Cockrell Hill area of Dallas and graduated from Crozier Teck High School where he played football. Clyde married Patricia Townsend Hill and they were married for 62 years before her death on October 3, 2010. He worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone and retired from AT&T. After retirement he and Pat traveled extensively over the United States. He loved the many hours he spent on the golf course also. He loved all kinds of water sports including, boating, fishing, and skiing. He loved hunting too. Clyde was a long time member of First United Methodist Church of Waxahachie and of the Covenant Sunday School Class. He was preceded in death by his parents Vernon and Marie Hill. He was also preceded in death by his wife Patricia Hill and his son Steven Hill in 2020. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Janie and Howard Litke of Ovilla, and daughter-in-law, Linda Hill of Montgomery TX. His grandchildren are Josh Litke and wife Angie of Midlothian, Jared Litkeand wife Brennen of Frisco, Steven Hill and wife, Annisa of Spring, TX, and Dustin Hill and wife, Dana of Montgomery, TX. His great grandchildren are CalebLitke, Hanna Litke, Jordan Litke, Allison Litke, Titus Litke, Abigail Litke, Autumn Litke, Gracie Hill Brown, Ella Hill and Lane Hill. He is also survived by a special friend, JoAnn Ranton. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 13th from 9 to 10 AM at Laurel Land Funeral Chapellocated at 6000 So R L Thornton Freeway, Dallas. The funeral will follow there also at 10 AM on November 13th and burial will follow at Laurel Land Cemetery.
