Candy Katheryn McCann

June 28, 1954 - February 22, 2025

Candy Katheryn McCann was born on June 28, 1954 to Robert and Pauline Collins in Riverside, California. Candy graduated from Pale Verde High in Blythe, California. Candy lived in many places during her life, including Omaha, NE, Tucson, AZ, Troy, OH, finally landing in Waterloo, IA. Candy was a giver. She helped everyone she crossed paths with, never turning anyone away no matter how little she had. Candy lived for her grandchildren.

Candy married Randy McCann in Evansdale, IA, June 14, 2002. She is survived by Randy McCann, her children, Bill (Sarah) Collins, Shonna (Kevin) Smith of Waterloo, and Brian Gray of Waterloo, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Candy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Pauline Collins, and her siblings, Ruby Johnson, Robert Collins, Mary Collins, and Jane Mendoza.

A celebration of life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Heart Association.
