Curtis Hochreiter Obituary
August 14, 1934 - January 5, 2025
Curt Hochreiter, 90, of Cedar Falls, passed away at UPH/Allen Hospital of Waterloo. He was born in Albert Lea, Minn. on August 14, 1934, son of Fred and Bernice (Johnson) Hochreiter. Curt worked for John Deere in Waterloo for 39 years, retiring in 1994. He married Lana (Jacobsen) Huebner who he met on one of his many RAGBRAI trips on October 19, 1991, at Nazareth Lutheran Church. Curt was an avid volunteer at church, Allen Hospital and Care Initiatives to name a few organizations.
Curt's Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Nazareth Lutheran Church with Visitation the evening prior from 4 to 6 p.m. at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Finchford Cemetery. More information available at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
