It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Friend.

Doris was born May 16th,1947 in New Hampton, IA to Anita Doris Lensing.

She went to East High School until 1963 and later in life earned her GED.

She married Richard Henry Sapp August 29th,1963 in Preston, MN and again June 6th, 1964 in Waterloo, IA. She double loved that man :).

Doris worked at Rath Packing Company for 10 years. She was a Union Steward and was very proud of her job. She was there until they closed their doors in 1985.

She worked at Varsity Cleaners with her sisters for a few years before retiring and moved to Missouri.

She spent 25 years in MO enjoying kids, cats, dogs, horses and 4 wheeling! She loved having company and would spoil everyone with her home style cooking, contagious smile and house full of love and laughter.

She loved to travel! She was so proud to have seen all 50 states as well as Greece, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Mexico.

Doris was cherished by all that knew her for her fun loving, silly, sassy, & adventurous soul.

Above all she loved and cared for her family deeply.

Survivors include her husband Richard, Dunkerton, 2 daughters Michele (Robin)Baldwin, Debra (Jeff) Konken of Waterloo; 5 grandchildren, Joshua (Brandi) Hurley, Justin (Emily) Nicol, Emily (Matt) Myers, Scott (Jewel) Konken, and Wyatt (Kelly) Baldwin. She was blessed with 11 great grandchildren as well. 2 Brothers Darrell Lensing, Dan Derifield, 2 Sisters Diane Luitjens & Darlys Martinez and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special Thank you to the Cedar Valley Hospice for the loving care they provided Doris.

We hope you will cherish all of the special memories you had with Doris. If you knew her you loved her! She was one special lady.
