Faren Quay Balkmon-Jones, 60, of Dunedin, Fl, formerly of Waterloo, died May 21, 2025. She was born January 13, 1965, in Waterloo, daughter of Henry Lee and Maxine Green Roby. She graduated from East Waterloo High School. Following High School, she enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1984 and would serve a year before reenlisting in the United States Navy. She married her beloved husband of 36 years, Gregory Jones on March 31, 1989. She was employed as a care giver which is testament to how much she loved helping others.
Family will receive friends from 3:00 – 6:00 PM, Wednesday, June 4, at Locke Funeral Services, 4140 Kimball Ave. Her funeral will be held Thursday, June 5, at 11:00 AM, at Mt Carmel Baptist Church. Condolences may be left at www.LockeFuneralServices.com.
