Frank Henry Reints
July 6, 1929 - February 2, 2024
Frank Henry Reints, 94, of Shell Rock, IA, passed away on February 2, 2024, at the Waverly Health Center, Waverly.
Frank was born on July 6, 1929, in Butler County, IA, the son of Frank G. and Emilie (Siefkes) Reints. He attended school in Shell Rock and graduated from Shell Rock High School in 1946. After high school he farmed with his father until he entered the United States Army. He was honorably discharged in 1953. Upon his return from the service, he worked at Gamble's in Waverly and also farmed with his brother Elso. Frank was united in marriage to Lois Mueller on August 26, 1956, in Cedarburg, WI. After their marriage the couple raised livestock and crop farmed. Lois passed away in 1992 and Frank retired from farming in 1994.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Faith Lutheran Church in Shell Rock with Pastor Joel Becker officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Shell Rock with military rites at the grave by the Avery-Slight American Legion Post #393 of Shell Rock. There will be visitation on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to the time of the service at the church. The service will be livestreamed on Faith Lutheran Church's YouTube and Facebook pages. Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or to the Avery-Slight American Legion Post 393 of Shell Rock.
