Keith Knudson Obituary

Dr. Keith Garold Knudson, DDS, age 66, passed away at home on January 29, 2025.

Keith was born on June 4, 1958, in Waterloo, Iowa, to the late Garold and Marcella "Marcie" Knudson. He graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1976 and went on to earn his undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Iowa. After completing his undergraduate degree, he attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, graduating with the class of 1984.

On August 11, 1979, Keith married Connie Foulk, and together they had two daughters, Jami Jo and Keri Lynn. They later divorced in 1990.

Keith was a dentist at Dental Associates in Platteville, Wisconsin for many years. Outside of work, he found joy in woodworking in his shop, biking across Wisconsin's scenic trails, playing golf, and cheering for his Iowa Hawkeyes.

Keith is survived by his daughter Keri Kittredge and her husband Blake; three grandsons, Kolton (11), Kashton (6), and Krew (2); his sister Karan Flanscha and her husband Mike; and two nephews, Jake Flanscha (Jaime) and Nicholas Flanscha (Danielle), along with their families. He was greeted into heaven by his parents and his cherished daughter Jami Jo.

A private ceremony will be held, at a later date, to lay Keith to rest beside his parents and daughter at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Waterloo, Iowa.

I went to high school with Keith and he was one of the nicest people I ever knew. We reconnected on Facebook and he was the same person I knew in school. My condolences to his family and the rest of his friends. May you rest in eternal peace Keith. You will be missed.

I first met Keith when we moved in next door to him during the summer before our junior year of high school. So many great memories, many of which I can't share here! Keith was such a great friend and loving father. I will always remember the great times we had together and keep Keith and his family in my thoughts and prayers.

First met Keith at married student housing in Iowa City. My favorite memory was the raucous Halloween pub crawl on the dental school bus.
