Lavern Hoeper, 87, of Waverly died on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics in Iowa City.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 11 a.m., at St. John's United Church of Christ – Siegel rural Waverly with Pastor Susan Weier officiating. The service will be livestreamed on Siegel St. John's United Church of Christ Facebook page. Burial will follow in Harlington cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4 until 7 p.m., at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral in Waverly and also an hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials can be directed to the church and online condolences left at www.kaisercorson.com.
