Mike was one of my best friends growing up. Mike had polio and because of that one of his legs was much less developed than the other. That never stopped Mike from neighborhood football games wrestling tournaments in his basement or anything else. I am sure it worried his mom, but never Mike. Mike and I would go to dances at The Electric Park, The YMCA, and other locations in and around Waterloo. After high school Mike started managing and sometimes playing ( organ ) with the Rock band Gripsweed Jam. He was my friend and he is missed.
