Scott Alan Hahn
April 2, 1963 – December 2, 2023
With his family and friends beside him, Scott Hahn slipped away quietly the morning of December 2, 2023. He was 60 years old, born April 2, 1963, in Marshalltown, Iowa, to parents Arlene and Lloyd "Skip" Hahn.
He was a 1981 graduate of Dunkerton High School. He earned a degree in industrial technology from UNI and put that degree to work at American Pattern for over 20 years. He was a member of the Amvets and the Eagles. Scott loved football. He knew the college game better than most. His satirical wit could light up a conversation, and his laugh could take over a room. He was a good guy who had a good heart, did a thousand small favors for scores of people, and certainly knew that his family and friends cared about him.
Left to carry on without him are his mother, Arlene Hahn, sister Robin (Gail) Mueller, brother Kevin (Gayle), brother Jeff (Laurie) Hahn. Nieces Amy Mueller Minikus, Katie Mueller Boisen, Haleigh Hahn Drake, Harper Hahn, and great nieces, Lauren and Ava Boisen.
Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, 202 1st St, Waterloo, Iowa.
