Diane was born in Tallassee, Alabama, on November 15, 1949. She is survived by her son, Lee Nabors; brother, Robert Merrill Norrell (Roberta Lynn); nephew and great niece, Scott and Aliyah Norrell; sister, Mona Norrell; daughter-in-law, Tangie Nabors and granddaughter, Addison Nabors; nephew, Michael Pierce (Brett); great nephew and niece, Logan and Amy Laurel Pierce; niece, Amanda Pierce Wilson (Chris); great niece and nephew, Piper and Pierce Wilson. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert (better known as "Chief" or "Pinball") and Harriette Pienezza Norrell. Her passion for teaching will forever be remembered in her lessons that she gave to her students for over thirty years. She taught her students from the heart. A celebration of Diane's life will be held with her immediate family at a later date.
