Emma Omega Tatum

TATUM, Emma Omega, 96, resident of Montgomery, AL, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 26, 2025. A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at 2:00 pm from Prattville Memorial Chapel with Minister Joshua Ryan Tatum honoring his beloved grandmother. Burial will follow at Prattville Memory Gardens with Prattville Memorial directing. The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial on Wednesday from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Mrs. Tatum was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Tatum, Sr., parents, Leslie and Claudia Mae Campbell; two sons, Robert F. Tatum, Jr. and Ronald L. Tatum; daughter, Felicia D. Tatum; grandson, Jovie Tatum; and granddaughter, Alexandra Shoemaker. She is survived and cherished by her three sons, Billy Ray Tatum (Louise), R. Cliff Tatum and James Terry Tatum; two daughters, Sherrie Josephine Tatum and Shirley Tatum; daughter-in-law, Lorene Tatum (Robert F. Tatum, Jr.); a host of devoted grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; extended family and many friends. She loved to recount the story of her husband-to-be inviting her to accompany him to the Church of Christ and was proud to be a lifelong member. She wanted all she met to know that Jesus said, "...upon this rock, I will build my church."
