Roger Clark Obituary

CLARK, Roger McLaurin, 88, resident of Prattville, AL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 12, 2025. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 2:00 pm from Crestview Baptist Church with Pastor Robert Moses Clark and Keith Moore with Prattville Memorial directing. The family will receive friends on Thursday at the church one-hour prior to the service. Roger was proud of being a Boy Scout and member of the National Guard. He had two green thumbs, loved his flowers and had a green house. Roger loved all people and most of all he loved the Lord. He was proud of having the church library at Crestview Baptist "The Roger Clark Church Library." Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Garner M. and Evelyne Clark and brother, Dr. Garner V. Clark; sister, Lina Lee Mills and niece, Lee Mills. He is survived by his sister, Lydia Clark Coker; brother, Robert Moses Clark (Karen); several nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. Pallbearers will be Bo Clark, Larry Walker, Chip Mills, Clark Mills, Garner Clark and Gannon James. Honorary Pallbearers will Mac Vines and Stan McCracken.

Roger stole the hearts of my two little girls. Him giving them their own personal piano performance and his sweet way of talking to us about times past will forever be what brings a smile to our faces when we think of him. We cherish those wonderful moments spent together.
