Beau Dittberner Obituary
Beau was born on December 13, 1988, in Madison, the son of Joseph and Julie (Ward) Dittberner. On July 16, 2022, Beau was united in marriage with Katie Najarian in La Crescent, MN. The couple enjoyed traveling together, especially to Florida where they loved spending time on the beach. Beau had an affinity for water, whether it was just swimming or snorkeling. He also had a talent for fixing boats. In his younger days, Beau and his father Joe ran demolition derby cars and that inspired a lifetime love of fixing and working on vehicles. He was also an avid martial arts enthusiast. Beau was a hard worker who above all else valued time spent with his family and friends.
Beau was a devoted husband who loved the children and loved Katie with passion. He particularly loved his Catholic Faith. He approached everything he did one hundred percent and was not content with mediocrity. He applied this zeal towards his work at Big Sky Engineering. He was generous with his time and talent and was always willing to help those in need. He will be especially missed for his kind and tender heart and his larger-than-life personality.
Beau is survived by: his wife Katie; children Andrew, Alexander, and Anthony; parents Joe and Julie; siblings Molly (Nathan) Stahl and their son JJ, and Tess (Shay) Horwich and their daughter Dottie; and in-laws Deacon Stephen (Sandra) Najarian. Beau is also survived by a number of other relatives and many friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church of Watertown with Fr. David Drefcinski and Deacon Stephen Najarian presiding. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 AM till Mass time. Beau will be laid to rest at St. Bernard's Catholic Cemetery following the Mass.
