David Heller Obituary

Arbor Vitae, WI - David C. Heller Sr. , 75, of Minocqua, formerly of Watertown, Wisconsin passed away at his home on Sunday, May 25, 2025. He was born in Watertown, WI on October 11, 1949 to Ardon and Margaret Heller.

David attended and graduated from St. Marks Evangelical Lutheran School in Watertown in 1964 and Lakeside Lutheran High School in Lake Mills, WI in 1969.

He married Anna (nee Lawson) on September 5, 1970, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lake Mills. David worked at Chrysler Outboard in Hartford, WI for 10 years, Menasha (Applied) Molded Products in Watertown for 16 years, and then Brownberry Bakery in Oconomowoc for 13 years.

David was very active and a proud union member of the Afl-Cio, Teamsters and the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. He retired in 2012. After his wife retired in 2015 he and Anna moved to Minocqua to enjoy the "Lake Life".

He is survived by his wife Anna; sons, David C. Heller Jr. of Arbor Vitae and Sean D. Heller Sr. of Reeseville, WI; nine grandchildren, Charles (Katrina) Heller of Woodruff, Crystal McGovern of Juneau, WI, Rachel (Juan) Mejia of Hazelhurst, Ryan Heller of Arbor Vitae, Tylena (Alex Harsvick) LeBeouf of Arbor Vitae, Saphira Heller of Arbor Vitae, Ayla Jean (Josh Stueber) Heller of Watertown, Anna May (Trey Krueger) Heller of Mayville, Sean Heller Jr. of Reeseville. Eleven great-grandchildren, Elysia and Apollo Heller, Jeramiah, Izick and Serenity McGovern, Emelia, Juan Jr., and Aria Mejia, Pierce Harsvick, Sophia and Bellamy Heller; sisters Susan (Randy) Klingbiel of Watertown and Mary (Randy) Bleiler of Fort Atkinson. He is further survived by brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ardon Heller and Margaret Krumrey; parent in laws, Richard and Dorothy Lawson and a sister-in-law Suzanne Harvey.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 12:00 noon at Trinity Lutheran Church in Minocqua, WI with a visitation one hour prior to the service. A luncheon will be held at the church following the service and burial will take place at Union Grove Cemetery in Harshaw, WI afterwards.
