Jon Hauser Obituary

Jon A. Hauser Elm Grove, WI - Formerly of Watertown, WI, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2024.

He was born on April 30, 1941, to Harold and Mary (Gesicki) Hauser in Medford, Wisconsin.

He is survived by his daughter Kirsten (Mary) Hauser, Jeremy (Brooke) Hauser; his grandchildren Thomas Hauser and Annika Hauser, and brothers Jim (Sally) Hauser and Denis (Vickie) Hauser and sisters Susie Soos, Kathy (Bill) Brunner, Margaret (Randy) Mayer and Patty Hauser and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by dog family Bert and Maisie and his ever-loyal companion Harold. He was preceded in death by his wife Diana, his brother Justin Hauser and his parents.

Jon was many things- proud veteran, successful businessman, generous friend, skilled gardener and committed sports fan. Most important to Jon was his role as family man. He adored his family and offered unwavering support to them always. He provided them a life beyond their wildest dreams. Though his last year was marked by numerous health challenges, he met all of them with strength, courage and his typical good nature. While he will be sorely missed, his family takes great comfort that he is now reunited with his beloved wife of 55 years, Diana.

The family wishes to thank Froedtert Hospital and Horizon Hospice for their compassionate care. Per Jon's wishes there will not be a funeral. His family will have a private celebration of his life. If one desires, donations may be made in his honor to St. Jude's Hospital or the Humane Society. Additionally, you can think of Jon every time the Green Bay Packers play.
