Marlin Zuehlke Obituary

Watertown, WI - Marlin H. Zuehlke, 90, of Watertown, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek.

A private graveside service was held at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Sullivan. Memorials, if desired, would be appreciated to St. John's Lutheran Church in Watertown or to Rainbow Hospice. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Watertown is serving the family. Online condolences may be left at www.HafemeisterFH.com.

Marlin Herman Zuehlke was born on November 17, 1933 to Emil and Alma (Patzfahl) Zuehlke in Summit. He was a graduate of Oconomowoc High School.

Marlin farmed most of his life raising beef cattle on the southwest side of Watertown. He later worked for the Watertown Daily Times in circulation. Marlin enjoyed reading the newspaper and was an avid reader.

He is survived by his three sons: Mark (Stacy) Zuehlke of Watertown, Kurt (Linda) Zuehlke of Lake Mills, Eric (Kris) Zuehlke of Watertown; grandchildren: Andrew Zuehlke, Samuel Zuehlke, Mason Zuehlke, Claire Zuehlke, Elissa (Joshua) Bishop, Matthew (Josie) Zuehlke, Adam (Ava) Zuehlke, Colton Zuehlke, Michael Zuehlke, Gregory Zuehlke, Alexander Zuehlke, Connor LaFavor, Morgan LaFavor; 8 great-grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends.

Marlin was preceded in death by his parents; daughter-in-law, Shawn Zuehlke.
