Mary Karolyn Keuler
Berlin, WI - Mary Karolyn Keuler, age 66, of Berlin, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, March 3, 2025. She was born on August 5, 1958 in Rome, New York; the daughter of Ludwig and Isabelle (Quintana) Muhlnickel.
She married Roger Peot on August 4, 1983 and had three beautiful children, Josef, Allison and Aaron. In 1992, They bought a dream house in Watertown and it was a family united to restore the old farmhouse into a beautiful home. She cherished every moment she spent with her children. On March 17, 2018 her life was forever changed when she tragically lost her son, Aaron. That anniversary left an ache in her heart every year.
She was united in marriage to Thomas Keuler on November 7, 2015. She was the sunshine in his life. In 2019, she found her dream cabin and created her own "she shed" and built her own dock to fish on the stream. She loved to make jewelry and one of her favorite hobbies was thrift shopping. She always managed to find the best deal. She collected trinkets and loved her vintage collection of salt and pepper shakers.
She worked for Thomas Keuler CPA in Ripon for 10 years and a half year as an office assistant and was so proud to become "tech savvy". She always remembered important dates and sent cards to clients for an extra personal touch.
The other love of her life was her dog, Annabelle. She was her Georgia Peach and they were an instant match. Annabelle never left her side. She also loved to feed the stray cats in her neighborhood and always thought that no animal should go hungry.
Mary Karolyn was always finding ways to help someone. She often bought Christmas gifts for families in need. She remembered every birthday and even left some cheesecake brownies on your front step to make you feel special.
Mary Karolyn is survived by her husband, Tom; children: Allison Peot of Dousman, WI, and Josef (Kathy) Peot of Colorado Springs, CO; 2 sons-in-law: Clint (Melissa) Keuler, and Matthew (Marta) Keuler; brother, Ludwig Muhlnickel Jr; sister, Elizabeth Holland; 1st husband, Roger Peot; other relatives, and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; and son, Aaron Peot.
Funeral services for Mary Karolyn will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Divine Passage Funeral Home in Ripon, WI with Brian Smith officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday, March 16, 2025 from 12:00PM until the time of the services. Cremation will follow. Interment will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers. Please donate to your local humane society or honor her in an act of kindness. The family will also make sure donations go to helping animals and people.
