Nathan Beck Obituary

Nathan Beck Watertown, WI - Nathan (Nate) Beck passed away on Wednesday, September 24, at Aurora Medical Center - Summit following a fall. He was born on August 9, 1978, the son of Ken Beck and Linda (Uttech) Beck Page in Watertown, WI. Nathan was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Watertown.

He graduated early in 1996 from Watertown High School, where he played saxophone and tuba in the band. Nathan went on to get a degree in electronics from MATC.

Nathan had many interests in his life, starting with shooting pool as a teenager and winning many trophies. He started bowling as a small child - something he excelled at as an adult, and he was proud to achieve a 299 game.

One of his hobbies as a child was Legos, something he continued to do as an adult. Every Christmas until his death, he received a box of Legos from his mom.

According to his longtime companion and friend, Lyndsey Skladanek, who he liked to do these things with, Nathan liked sitting by a campfire and listening to rock music. He enjoyed watching Masked Singer and American's Got Talent (and would sometimes cry if they sang really good). And he LOVED horror movies.

One of the biggest highlights of his life was traveling to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland with mom and stepdad. He was amazed that he could have a beer at McDonald's in Switzerland.

Nathan loved the Badgers and Packers, but he was most passionate about his beloved Brewers. He would talk Brewers to anyone and everyone.

Nathan was employed at WisPak as a forklift driver.

Following his death, Nathan was able to save four lives by donating his heart, liver, and kidneys through Versiti. His corneas helped two people with their vision through Lions World Vision Institute.

Nathan is survived by his mother and stepfather, Linda and Herbert (Buzz) Page of Watertown; his brother, Landon (Jessica) Beck of Colorado; his daughter, Amy Beck, of Watertown; his son, Nathan Livingston, of Janesville; aunts LuAnn (Al) Tippel of Adell, Carla Meyer of Warren, MI, and Arlene Holzhueter of Watertown; stepmother Cheryl Beck, stepbrothers Craig Godfroy and Keith Godfroy, stepsister Lisa Morris, all of Watertown; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth E. Beck; maternal grandparents, Nordian and Mildred (Pieper) Uttech; paternal grandparents, Edwin and Elvira Beck; cousins Medea Meyer and Jason Beck.

After.com is aiding the family with Nathan's cremation. No formal services will be held. Memorials, if desired, may be directed to the family.
