Gary Doepel Obituary

WEST MILTON — Gary W. Doepel, Age 73, of West Milton, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital.

He was born May 23, 1942 to the late Smith & Verda (Tyree) Doepel in Chevrolet, Kentucky.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister Barbara (Wayne) Bargo; brother-in-law Roger Marlatt; and stepbrother Paul Tyree.

He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Melody (Arnett) Doepel of West Milton; son Gary Dwayne (Christy) Doepel of Auburn, KY; daughter April Marie Doepel of West Milton; step daughter Collette (Corby) Bratcher of Troy; grandson Tyler Doepel; great grandchildren Lotus Rayne and Anakin; step mother Iva Doepel; sisters Myra Marlatt, Priscilla (Donnie) Powell; brother Ervin (Mary) Doepel; step sisters Donna Bryant, Deb Tyree, and Janet Branson.

Gary served his country proudly in the United States Army and retired from Wright Patterson Air Force base.

He also attended Community Grace Brethren Church.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM on Friday, July 10, 2015 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton.
