1938 – 2024

Andrew Goto, beloved husband and father, passed on to Heaven on May 30, 2024, following an 18-month battle with cancer. Andy was 86 years old and is survived by his loving wife, Beryl Goto; sons: Michael and David; daughter, Kimi; sisters: Kiyomi Noji and Irene Goto; and seven adored grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Masako Goto; brothers: Fred, Roy, Sam and Henry.
Andy was born in 1938, in Vale, OR. He moved to Quincy, WA, in 1954, graduating from Quincy High School. He also graduated from the University of Washington earning a business degree. He returned to Quincy in 1973, to join Farmway Implement with Jim Hirai and Bob Jacques.
Andy was a husband, father and friend extraordinaire. He was involved in and loved the Quincy community and enjoyed golf, boating, waterskiing, snow skiing, home improvement and traveling. His most enjoyable time was spent with his family and grandchildren.
The family will be holding a Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at Faith Community Church, 1005 10th Ave. SW, Quincy, WA, followed by a luncheon reception at the Barn at the Quincy Historical Society and Museum, 415 F St. SW, Quincy, WA. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made to the Quincy Rotary Club or the Seattle Virginia Mason Cancer Institute in Andy's name.
