It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend to all the lives he touched.
Austin was born October 13, 1993, and passed away on July 31, 2024. He was born in Colorado on the Army base his father, Mike Barnhart, Jr., and mother, Jennifer, were stationed at. Austin spent most of his life in Kalispell, MT. He attended Flathead High School and studied at Wenatchee Valley College. He moved back to Wenatchee, WA, in 2022, and went to work for H2 Pre-Cast as a maintenance technician. He was also a part-time Customer Service Representative for Harbor Freight.
Austin is mournfully missed and survived by his father, Mike Barnhart, Jr., and wife, Kari; his mother, Jennifer Smith; sisters: Shauna Barnhart, Jessica Barnhart, Olivia Cullingworth, Eren Barnhart, Morgan Hernandez Barnhart, Jasmine Borth; and brother, Jerod Smith; grandparents: Mike and Nancy Barnhart, Robert and Delia Ritter, Jean Harkness, Karen Stensgar; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
There will be a Celebration of Life at Hydro Park on September 15, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. If you would like to make a donation in Austin's name, please send to Picnic In The Parking Lot in care of First Baptist Church at 429 Evans St., Leavenworth, WA, 98826. Picnic In The Parking Lot is held Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Enjoy free food and fellowship or make new friends.

Austin I cherish every moment I was given with you! I love you and always will, I'm so thankful I was able to take you to family before you became an angel watching over everyone. I miss you and thank you for so much!
