Doyle Goldy Obituary
July 21, 1927 - July 17, 2025
Doyle F Goldy was called home by Jesus on July 17th at the age of 97.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly L Goldy, in 2016, and survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, David and Ettie, Ronald and Deborah, Gary, and Dale, and Lori. When his loving wife passed away, Doyle was quoted as saying, "I have spent my life building my kingdom and now have lost my queen." A more fitting quote was never heard because build a kingdom, he did, and the kingdom he built was vast.
He was known as Grandad to 12 grandchildren, great-grandfather to 24 great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandfather to two sweet boys, but his reach of wisdom and love stretched far beyond the family he built.
He brought many people to Jesus through his words, lessons, and time as a pastor. He even maintained years of ministry at a local prison, spreading the gospel to the inmates. His love even extended to the many cats that were lucky enough to cross his path. His words will not be soon forgotten by his family, friends, or strangers, and we all intend to continue his legacy in his absence.
We love you, Grandad.
A Graveside Service is held Friday, August 8, 2025, 2 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park, 1301 10th St. NE, East Wenatchee, WA.
