Edward G. Tippen, 72, of Entiat, Washington, passed away peacefully at home on January 18, 2026.
He was born in Wenatchee and later moved to Entiat, where he graduated from High School and began a career as a hydroelectric operator. He took pride in his work and retired after more than 30 years of service.
An avid outdoorsman, Ed found joy in the natural beauty surrounding Entiat. His favorite hunting destination, however, was Montana. He also had a passion for classic cars, often spending time admiring, restoring, or simply enjoying them with friends and family. Above all, he will be remembered for his steady, calm disposition, and his quick laughter that could brighten a day.
He is survived by his wife, his daughter, his mother, and his siblings.
A memorial service will be held at Entiat Cemetery on April 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend.
