Hollie Marie McGregor Goodrich unexpectedly passed away May 8, 2025, in Wenatchee, Washington, at the age of 63. She was born to Harold King McGregor and Georgia Lavern Taylor McGregor on April 2, 1962, also in Wenatchee.
Hollie's first home was on Wheeler Hill in Wenatchee. At the age of four she moved with her family to East Wenatchee where she grew up attending schools in the Eastmont School District. She married John Scott Goodrich in l982. They were blessed with two sons, Nathan in l986 and Daniel in l989. She and her husband Scott lived in Dryden, Washington, Colorado and Nevada, returning to the Wenatchee area in l987, where she lived the remainder of her life. Her husband passed in 2005.
Hollie worked in the food industry while in Colorado, home health care in Nevada and provided geriatric health care when she returned to Wenatchee. She held various positions and responsibilities during her lengthy tenure at Safeway in East Wenatchee. During the last two and a half years she has worked at Tree Top in Wenatchee as a Purchasing and Inventory Control Coordinator.
Hollie was all about family. Her sons Nathan and Daniel, their wives Ty and Andi, and her grandchildren Alia, Ashley, Kaleb, Kian, Lilly, Gage and Fox were cherished and loved. Hollie had eleven older siblings and wore her role as the youngest well. She brought a tremendous amount of joy to her family. She extended that same love and joy to her husband's family. All are feeling her loss.
Hollie enjoyed traveling, vacationing, connecting with friends, assisting those in need and studying the word of God. She was an involved Christian and belonged to a women's bible study group.
Hollie is survived by her sons, their wives and her grandchildren, stepson Jesse Goodrich; siblings and their spouses Pat Fleming, Sharon Haynes (Rich), Gary McGregor (Carol), Janet Sanders, Danny McGregor (Vicki), Dixie Shiflett, Sally Goodwin (Gordy), Sheila Kane (Scott), Marsha Smith (Bob), and Tracy McGregor; her husband's sisters and brother Leanne Goodrich Compton, Karol Larson and Buddy Goodrich; her father-in-law Bud Goodrich(Linda), nieces and nephews; and her longtime friend Tanya Dahl Gibbs.

Hollie was my friend for over 40 years! I met her while working in the trenches, packing pears and apples at Peshastin Fruit Growers back in the 80's! She went on a trip with me and my family to Disneyland! Such wonderful memories of those days!! I was shocked and saddened to read about her passing!! My deepest condolences to her family and friends! My heart goes out to her sons and their families!! She was such a wonderful person and friend! She will be deeply missed!

Although I didn´t spend as much time beyond our younger years and here and there through life I have to say that Hollie was one of the nicest humans. Nothing but love, joy, and that memorable laugh attached to a beautiful smile. Heavens a brighter place.
So sorry to all the hurting friends and family members. May the good memories heal your hearts.
RIP Hollie.
