James W. Watson, born August 29, 1936, and died May 23, 2024.
He is survived by his wife, Geziena; one sister, Pat Boone (Bill); son, Nile (Lori McKibben); daughters: Daine (Richard) and Darlene; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His love of planes led him to a career in flying. He retired from Executive Flight. Jim was active in Civil Air Patrol. He was active in church until he suffered a stroke in 2012.
A Memorial Service will be held Cashmere Church of Christ, 5954 Goodwin Road, Cashmere, WA, Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Please express your thoughts and memories on the online guestbook at jonesjonesbetts.com. Arrangments are in the care of Jones & Jones- Betts Funeral Home, Wenatchee, WA.

Jim was my very patient and encouraging flight instructor in 1985. I will be forever grateful. Condolences to all his loved ones. We were blessed to have him around.
