Judith Thayer Obituary
Born on May 29, 1941, in Leavenworth, Washington, Judy spent her childhood in Cashmere. She attended school there from kindergarten through high school and was honored as Princess of Cashmere in 1959-an early recognition of the cheerful and friendly spirit that would define her throughout her life.
In 1961, Judy married Darrell L. Thayer. Together they built a life centered around family and shared values. Their marriage spanned over six decades until Darrell's passing in 2022. They raised three children together and later welcomed four grandchildren into their lives. After raising their family, Judy completed a degree in elementary education and enjoyed teaching for several years. Judy is survived by her brother, her three children, and four grandchildren. Her presence will be deeply missed by those who knew her.
The Columbarium at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Chelan, WA is where the remains of Judy and Darrell will rest together in peace.
