Lisa Steensma
February 7, 1984 - April 16, 2025
Our family mourns the loss of our daughter and sister Lisa Renee Steensma, 41, of Wenatchee Washington, who died April 16, 2025.
Lisa loved her family and friends and left countless memories for each to draw upon with her passing. She attended schools in Wenatchee and earned a degree in Supply Chain Management from Arizona State University.
After leaving her college life in Arizona, she moved to North Carolina where she started a career in Supply Chain within the furniture industry. She later worked in the Medical Supply industry and finally moved back to Wenatchee, where she has worked in the apple industry in supply chain and sales.
Lisa loved to travel and had visited many countries with her close friends and family. She enjoyed time spent with family, and adored her two nieces, Jemima and Ruby.
Lisa leaves behind father and mother, Randy and Sue Steensma; brother, Brent Steensma (Kim Steensma); nieces, Jemima and Ruby Steensma; brother, Brad Steensma (Haley Ciborowski).
She loved her Lord and Savior and now rests in his mighty hands.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date with family.

My sincere condolences to the family. We are praying for God´s peace, love, and comfort for all who knew sweet Lisa. Lisa wasn´t just a friend, she was my sister by choice. For close to 20 years she has been a constant bright light in my life. She was a treasure, hard to find, and hard to lose. I will forever cherish all the wonderful times we had together. Lisa was never one to miss an adventure. We traveled to so many places and we were always working on our next trip. From Australia, Bali, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Croatia, and even skydiving over the Grand Canyon, we had some incredible adventures together enjoying life to the fullest. Our times at the lake cabin, on the boat, and our campfire chats will be forever etched in my memory. I was so sad the day she moved from North Carolina, but we never let the miles between us separate our friendship. What a blessing she was in my life! I could always count on her to listen and pray with me for anything life threw at us. Lisa, life will be strangely quiet without you. I will surely miss our late-night talks, silly inside jokes, and your unwavering support, but I know you are now in presence of the Lord and blessing all of heaven. You will always be in my heart. Rest in peace my dear friend. 2 Corinthians 5:8
