Luke George Obituary

Luke George
February 7, 2025
Luke George, 46, passed away on February 7, 2025, in Wenatchee, Washington.
Born on January 11, 1979, in Wenatchee, Luke grew up with a strong sense of independence and determination. He pursued his education at the Art Institute of Seattle before continuing his studies at Utica College, where he earned a Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity. His passion for technology and security shaped much of his professional life.
Luke took great pride in his years of military service. He served in the United States Air Force as part of the Security Forces for four years, stationed at RAF Lakenheath in the United Kingdom. His dedication to service extended beyond active duty, as he later worked for military contractors in the tech field both domestically and overseas. His work took him to Afghanistan in 2009 and 2012, as well as Saudi Arabia, where he applied his expertise to support critical operations.
Beyond his career, Luke found joy in spending time with his children and sharing experiences that created lasting memories. His keen interest in motorcycles, art, and sports reflected his adventurous spirit and enthusiasm for life. Those who knew him best remember him as someone who loved hard, did right, and lived life on his own terms.
Luke is survived by his children, Kaden George, Milo George, and Dahlia George; his parents, Mike and Kim George; and his sister, Carley Bjorklund (Brian); plus many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob and Mary Lou Patrick and his grandmother, Carol George.
Luke's legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the values he instilled in those around him.
A celebration of Luke's life will be held at a later date.
