Michael Schultz Obituary

Michael Schultz
December 27, 1970 - February 22, 2025
Michael, 54, passed away unexpectedly on February 22, 2025. Michael was born on December 27, 1970. He was raised in Okanogan, WA, and settled in Wenatchee, WA.
Michael worked in the finance industry. Having survived two kidney transplants, Michael made sure he lived every possible moment to the fullest, loving his family, enjoying the outdoors, and making people laugh. To know Michael was to consider him a friend. He had a great passion for the outdoors with accomplishments of hiking many local trails and many Washington Mountains, including Mt. Adams, Mt. Stuart, Mt. St. Helens, and Mt. Rainier to name a few. Though he did not summit Mr. Rainier due to an incoming storm, this mountain remained on his bucket list.
Michael loved his family and spent much of his spare time transporting the girls to their sporting events and extra practices. He was always in the stands cheering loudly for his girls and was always available for a pep talk. He truly embraced being a girl dad.
Michael was a friend to many. Whether in business, at the gym or a random encounter, he always brought the charisma.
Michael is survived by his wife of 21 years, Carol; two daughters, Isabella and Alexa; Susan Thomas (mom); Steve Schultz, Sue (brother); Joy Schultz (stepmom); and his beloved dog, Cider. He is preceded in death by his dad, David Schultz.
Michael will forever be missed.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

What a wonderful thing to do for your family. The memory that I have Mike is of course, Christmases before you two had the girls and watching you guys sit on the floor with Tristan and Angelina while they opened gifts. You had adoring eyes for your niece and nephew and were ready to share your love with them. I thought how you two needed babies. You just had the ease of parenting in you both.
It was sweet.
Michael always made me feel welcome during family time and I appreciated how down to earth he always seemed. He was just a good man, for you and then your girls.
You say he embraced being a girl dad and although I wasn´t around anymore I could picture him that way 100%.
I´m so sorry for your loss. I can´t imagine the grief your feeling. You were blessed to find one another. 20+ years together that´s more than most of us can say.
I love you girls and Nina and I keep you in our thoughts. Sending love and hugs and good things your way. xoxo, Francy and. Nina

We either with Mike. He was a super great guy. After ClearView closed, we didn´t see him much. But he was in our minds along with his family. He will be missed by so many. The Christmas get together were always a blast. Carol, if you need anything, please let us know.

Mike was a kind and friendly man. I enjoyed getting to visit with him at cookouts and get togethers over the years, since I moved her. I´ve always had great admiration and respect for him, for how he lived his life and for how he loved and provided for his family.
