Michele Ann "Belle" Dingle, 55, beloved wife of Larry Gurdon Dingle, passed away Friday, April 25, 2025, at her home in Simpsonville, SC.
Born in Wenatchee, WA, she was the daughter of Fulgence Schrempp and the late Mary Ann "Nancy" Noyes Schrempp.
Michele graduated from Eastmont High School in 1987. Among other interesting experiences after high school, her adventurous spirit led her to serve in the US Navy from Sept 1996 to June 1998, achieving the rank of Airman, and qualified as an E-2C Hawkeye Plane Captain. This in turn led to the beginning of her greatest adventure, meeting her future husband Larry in the Navy, and starting a family.
The greatest joy in her life was taking care of her children and family. She had an infectious spirit, and radiated happiness and positivity wherever she went. A neighbor referred to her with much love as "a woman who was a ball of blonde, wavy haired sunshine. There was both an electricity about her, as well as a levity that just felt like you could kick up your feet and be yourself around her".
Michele loved angels, giraffes, Law and Order, 80's music, her cats, (Prince & Magnum) sitting on the back porch with her husband enjoying her roses while watching the seasons change, and making anyone in her presence feel safe, comfortable, and loved. She will be dearly missed.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to her husband, Larry; her children, Gabriel Dingle, Benjamin Dingle, Joshua Dingle, Larry Gurdon "Kurt" Dingle, Jr. (Nicole), Brittney Dingle Martin (Jason), Robert W. Dingle (Melissa); sister-in-law, Rhonda Cameron; brother-in-law, Robert Dingle; father, Fulgence Schrempp; sister, Kathy White (Mike); and three brothers, Michael Schrempp (Eileen), Glenn Schrempp (Wendy), and Chris Schrempp (Melissa); and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A Memorial Mass to celebrate Michele's life will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, East Wenatchee, followed by a reception in the parish hall. At 2 p.m. there will be a graveside service with military honors at Evergreen Memorial.
