My dad was an incredible man. He worked so hard to provide for our family. I had a lovely childhood because of the sacrifices he made for us. Early Onset Alzheimer's disease is one of the most horrific diagnoses. It robbed our family of so much time. We watched dad go away little by little. Despite the disease, my dad loved his grandkids with everything he had until the very end. And even when most of his memories and ability to acknowledge what we were saying was gone, he was able to show us two things remained-- his love for his family and his love for God. I pray that anyone who reads about my father would take the time to really seek out God. Today is Good Friday. It is a day to remember and reflect on the deep love of our Heavenly Father as his Son sacrificed himself for our sake. Find a church service tonight, open your heart and really embrace what kind of love was required to make us holy in the sight of God. Believe, repent, and follow our one true hope that is Jesus Christ. I love you daddy.
Love,
Kimberly

Roger was a great brother, a better father and a devoted christain man. I could say many more words but don't want to drag this out. I am happy though he doesn't have this disease anymore that took him away from us. It wasn't fair it happened to him and it isn't fair it happens to anyone else.

I am so sorry to see this. I went to high school with Roger and his wife was our real estate agent. I´ve known Roger for years. I am so so sorry to see this. He is gone way too young.
