Steve Boswell passed away November 23, 2024. Steve was born in Wenatchee on September 15, 1950, to parents Oscar and Helen Boswell. He spent his early years in Peshastin, WA. Later moving to Wenatchee, Steve attended Columbia Elementary, Orchard Junior High, and Wenatchee High School, where he graduated in 1969. Steve loved chemistry and built his own chemistry lab in the basement of our childhood house. He enjoyed working on cars and was a journeyman mechanic at Valley Auto Dodge and North Central Chevrolet. Later in life, Steve pursued a BS degree in chemistry and food science from Central Washington University. After graduation, he worked in the field of environmental science and food processing.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents and his partner of fifty years, Betty Reid. Survivors include his sister, Cinda Boswell Steinbroner and husband, Paul; sister, Teresa Boswell; brother, Jon Boswell; children, Brett Boswell, Justin Boswell, Heather Reid, George Reid, Jamie Reid, and Ben Thresher.
