Benjamin Caraballo De Jesus

With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Benjamin Caraballo De Jesus, a vibrant soul born on July 12, 1971, in Río Grande, Puerto Rico. Benjamin took his final bow on October 6, 2025. His life was a testament to the strength of spirit, the joy of laughter, and the power of a kind heart. Known for his captivating charisma and his infectious zest for life, Benjamin touched countless lives in his journey. He resided in Springfield, Massachusetts, where he manifested his love for community and family. Benjamin, a dedicated Supervisor at a local warehouse, spent nine years of his life ensuring that every task was completed with care. His colleagues often spoke of his ability to transform a mundane day into a memorable one with his unique blend of humor and warmth. Benjamin left behind his life long partner of Thirty years, Maria Victoria Alvarez, his children: Araliz Caraballo, Kelvin Caraballo and his stepchildren who he loved as his own: Leonela Delarosa, Sobeida Alamo and Edwin Alamo. He also leaves many grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends. He was predeceased by his dear parents, Alfonsa DeJesus Hernandez and Siemon Caraballo and his brother: Carlos Caraballo. A viewing for Benjamin will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Puerta Del Cielo® Funeral Home, 730 State Street, Springfield, Massachusetts, 01109. His burial will take place in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. Friends and family are invited to attend and celebrate the colorful life of Benjamin.
