David Boyer Obituary

David P. Boyer, 76, of Chesterfield, died on September 23, 2025 in Worthington as the result of a motorcycle accident. David was born in Northampton on October 19, 1948. He was the son of Ernest Boyer and Clara E. (Bacon) Robare. He was raised in Easthampton and a graduate of Easthampton High School. He served in Korea in the United States Army with three years of service. Throughout his life, David had many jobs but one of the most rewarding was as a truck driver for Chicopee Concrete. Loving the outdoors, he was an avid hunter, fisherman, and horseback rider. His passion in his life was motorcycle riding. David was fond of dogs. He will be dearly missed by his significant other Donna Safford with whom he lived. He was predeceased by his last wife Sharon Boyer in 2012. He also leaves his uncle Edward Boyer. Family meant the world to David. He will be dearly missed by his daughter Sharon Boyer of Amherst, Michelle Dupont of Easthampton, Terri Nadle of Chicopee and Rebecca McLaughlin of New Hampshire along with Serena Stone of Easthampton. He will be remembered by his sisters; Karen Siwicki and her husband Edward of Turner Falls, Cynthia Fish of Charlotte, North Carolina and Judith Graves of Easthampton also Patricia Sharkey and her husband Robert of Castle Rock, Colorado. He leaves his dear friend Robert Corleis of Virginia and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sisters, Constance Boyer and Elaine Bradley.The Boucher- O'Brien Funeral Home was entrusted with his cremation, and his family will be holding burial services privately.
