Ryan Cox Obituary

Ryan Mitchell Cox passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at his home in Aurora, Ore.

Ryan was born April 4, 1979, in Magnolia, Ark., to Debbie Roberts and Michael Cox.

When Ryan was 4, the family relocated from southern Arkansas to Flippin, Ark. It was there that Ryan developed his love of swimming, especially in Bull Shoals Lake. He had a love for animals, taking pride in the way the squirrels around his home would eat from his hand. Ryan had a fondness for funny memes and wearing T-shirts that were soaked with sarcasm. Throughout the years, Ryan had a knack for repairing and upgrading computers and other electronics, and listening to heavy metal
and rap music.

Ryan is survived by his wife of 22 years, Jamie, of the home, son Adam Cox of Cary, N.C., daughter Kayli Cox and grandson Lennon Baird of Aurora, stepdaughter Meghan (Joshua) Barton of Mtn. Home, Ark., and stepson Luke Bell of Flippin. He is also survived by his parents Debbie Roberts and Michael Cox of Flippin, sister Robin Young of Fayetteville, Ark., brother Robert (Tandi) Cox of Flippin, nephews Caleb Young and Tristan Young of Fayetteville, niece Alyssa Young of Fayetteville, nieces Allison Cox and Maggie Cox of Flippin, and a host of cousins, aunts and uncles.

Ryan was preceded in death by his grandparents Riley and Helen Cox and Giles and Avis Roberts, cousin Brett Culton and Uncle Dave Killion, all of Missouri.

A graveside memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. May 31, 2025, at Gospel Hill Church of Christ Cemetery in Pottersville, Mo. In lieu of flowers or memorials, the family encourages you to share a funny meme with someone you love and think fondly
of Ryan.
