James Dye Obituary

Dye, James Brant.
James Brant Dye, of Houston, was born on the 9th of October 1973, in Kansas City Missouri. Graduated Staples High School, Westport Conn and attended Fordham University, Bronx, New York. Moved to Houston, TX in 1994 and had a successful career in gas and oil sales.
Brant, our beloved son, brother, uncle and friend left this world on Tuesday, the 7th of October 2014, after a long fight with Testicular Cancer. He leaves on this earth his forever loving and dedicated mother, Laura Dye Beane, his devoted and heart filled loving sister, Jamie Dye, his beautiful light of his life known as Uncle B, his niece Ava James and his constant companion, MoJo, family Chihuahua, and his Aunt Gina and family. His life was filled with a passion for sports, laughter, and a love for good food. His greatest memories were filled with summers in Rockville, Indiana with his grandparents and sister and spending part of his life in Westport, Conn with lifelong friends.
A special dedication to his friend Thad Allen and his sister, Jamie who stayed by his side to help care for him, to those friends who spent football weekends cheering on his favorite football team, and all the others who he left a loving handprint on their hearts. Brant will always be in our life in spirit, heart and soul.
Special thanks to Houston Hospice and William from Texans Home Care for their dedicate care.
In memory of James, donations can be directed to Hope Lodge Houston, American Cancer Society, Attn: Sandy Biggers, 6301 Richmond Ave., Houston, TX, 77057 (www.cancer.org/hopelodgehouston).

Brant was one of the few people I have had the pleasure of knowing whom I never heard an unkind word towards. It was impossible not to like him. He was a truly lovely human being. My heart goes out to everyone who suffers from this tremendous loss.
