Samuel Cieri Obituary

Samuel P. Cieri was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania on October 4, 1930, and passed in Sacramento, California on December 8, 2024. He was preceded by his late wife Kay, and his triplet siblings, John and Rose. He is survived by his son Sam Jr., granddaughter Samantha, her husband Jeff, great-granddaughter Eliza and great-grandson Luca; Nephews Dennis, Paul, and others; Nieces Carol, Becky, Connie, and Lauren; Great nephews Eric and Johnathan; great nieces Susanne and Jennifer; great-great grandnieces Taylor, Mackenzie, and Aubrey, great-great grandnephew Julian, along with extended family and friends.

He followed in his father's footsteps who fought in WWI, by joining the army in 1948, was in the 24th Infantry, and the highest metal he received was a bronze star in the United States Armed Forces. When he was discharged from the army he met and married Kay on July 18th, 1955, and they moved to West Sacramento.

The Funeral Service will be held on December 27, 2024 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in West Sacramento
