Donna J. "Tootie" Shaw

Donna J. "Tootie" Shaw, 89, of Huntington, Indiana, passed away peacefully at 11:16 p.m. on Tuesday October 7, 2025, at Markle Health & Rehab. She was born on October 10, 1935, in Huntington, Indiana, to the late Paul J. Krumanaker and Evelyn (Thomas) Krumanaker. Donna attended Huntington Catholic School. She worked for many years at Memcor, dedicating 30 years of loyal service before her retirement. Known for her strong work ethic and kind spirit, Donna was also gifted in sewing and crafts. She found joy in reading and learning new things. In her free time, Donna enjoyed puzzles, cooking and most of all spending time with her family and friends. She was a longtime member of SS Peter and Paul's Catholic Church in Huntington. Survivors include her children, Jeffrey (April) Shaw of Huntington; David (Patricia, deceased) Shaw of Bartlett, TN and their son Vince Martin; Jeanie (Gary, deceased) Payne of Markle and their children Nikki (Brian) Topp, Amber (Steve) Athan, Jeremy (Amanda) Payne, Annette Adams; and Evie (Mark) Keplinger of Andrews and their children, Mark Keplinger, II, Kody Callicoat (Lena Hatch), Jeffrey (Nikki) Myers; great-grandchildren, Brenden Athan, Emery Athan, Jordan Payne, Rosie Adams, Hazel & Maggie; Sydney Myers, brother, Steve (Gaye) Krumanaker, sisters-in-law, Carol Krumanaker, Linda Krumanaker, and 15 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 4 babies, and her siblings, Jim Krumanaker, Bob (Helen) Krumanaker, Chuck Krumanaker. On Saturday, October 18, 2025 a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry Street, Huntington, IN, 46750, with Fr. Tony Steinacker presiding. There will be visiting time prior to Mass at the church starting at 9 am. Family and friends may gather to celebrate Donna's life on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 1-3 pm at Glancy-H. Brown & Son, 203 N. Matilda Street, Warren, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SS Peter and Paul's Catholic Church, 860 Cherry Street, Huntington IN 46750 or a charity of the donor's choice.
