Ellen Andrews Obituary

Ellen Georgia Andrews, 70, of Garrett, Indiana, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Sept. 15, 2025. She was born on Jan. 29, 1955, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Throughout her life she was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother and proud great-grandmother. Ellen married Lane Andrews Sr., and together they built a beautiful life rooted in love, family, and faith. He preceded her in death. They raised four children, Katrina Quigley, Lane Andrews Jr., Bruce Andrews and Angela Pasqualone. She was blessed with nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild, each of whom brought her immense joy, Seth Price, Milana Pasqualone, Grace Andrews, Piper Quigley, Londyn Andrews, Marlei Andrews, Brock Andrews, Rylenn Andrews, Lane "Trey" Andrews III, and her great-granddaughter, Baby Vera. Her faith in God was the foundation of her life. She lived with kindness and grace, always inspiring others with her spirit and devotion. She loved cooking and gathering her family, finding her greatest joy in time spent with her children and grandchildren. Ellen's joyful spirit brightened every room. She loved Christmas and created magical memories for her family. Music was one of her passions, especially dancing to her favorite song, Have You Ever Seen the Rain by Creedence Clearwater Revival. She also enjoyed interior design, hosting parties, traveling, and fine dining. Her laughter over a pink fur coat gift from her husband showed her humor and warmth. She worked in quality control at Kitco before dedicating herself to caring for her mother-in-law, Frankie Andrews, with whom she shared a lasting bond. Ellen is survived by her siblings, Herman, Ronald, Glenda Sue, Melinda and John. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rhoda and Nannie Bell Maloney; her husband, Lane Sr.; her sister, Judy; and her infant brother, Joel. Ellen will be remembered for her generosity, laughter, faith, and the love she gave so freely. Services will be held at 1 p.m., on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn. Burial will take place at Christian Union Cemetery in rural Garrett. Visitation will take place from noon to 1 p.m., on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025, prior to the service at the funeral home.
