Joaquim Luis "Jack" Crespo

Joaquim Luis "Jack" Crespo, age 30, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away on Friday September 5, 2025. Born on May 1, 1995, in Westfield, NY, he was the son of Jose Luis Crespo and Naomi (Almgren) Dinius. Jack attended Homestead and Ridge Community High School and graduated with the Class of 2013. He worked at Walmart, Lexy's Pizza, and at Vitu in Fort Wayne. Jack gave anything he could offer to anyone in need. He stopped his travels to offer food, money, a kind word, and a bible. Jack was a member of Sonrise Church and loved video games, camping, and anything with aviation or airplanes. He also loved to learn and knew a little something about almost anything. Survivors include his mother Naomi Dinius of Fort Wayne; fiancée Gracyn Reeb of Huntertown; siblings Samuel (Tabatha) Crespo of Connersville, Carlos Crespo of Fort Wayne; very close cousin Nicholas Almgren; paternal grandmother Anna Crespo of Portugal; nephews Mason and Lucas; niece Zoie; his in-laws Shane and Glenda Garvey of Huntertown; sister-in-law Gabbrielle (Ryan) Fipp of Fort Wayne; grandparents-in-law William (Coleen) Curry of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by his father Jose Crespo, dad Allen Dinius, maternal grandparents, and paternal grandfather. Friends may call on Thursday September 11, 2025, from 12:00-8:00 pm at DeMoney Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral services for Jack will be held at 10:00 am on Friday September12, 2025, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Old Lutheran and Union Cemetery, Roanoke.
